But for those who stay a little longer, the story could be different. Digital nomads working from Bangkok cafés, retirees enjoying a slower lifestyle, backpackers traveling across Southeast Asia, and long-stay visitors who once moved in and out of Thailand with ease may now need to rethink their plans. Flexible travel routines and frequent re-entries that many travelers became familiar with may become more limited as immigration rules continue to tighten in the future.
