TRUE DIGITAL PARK JOINS WITH ACE SINGAPORE IN THE GLOBAL INNOVATION ALLIANCE BANGKOK, CREATING AN INTEGRATED START-UP ECOSYSTEM IN SOUTHEAST ASIA’S DIGITAL HUB.

Bangkok, 4 May, 2018 – Dr. Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Singapore, together with Dr. Pansak Siriruchatapong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, hosted the GLOBAL INNOVATION ALLIANCE BANGKOK, an event which included a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the government and private sectors in Thailand and Singapore. Mr. Thanasorn Jaidee, President of True Digital Park, Thailand’s first and Southeast Asia's largest digital hub, signed the MOU with Mr. Edmas Neo, Executive Director at Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) Singapore, to integrate the two countries start-up ecosystems under the Open Innovation concept for Thai start-ups. This collaboration will also lead to the exchange of in-depth information and expertise with a goal of establishing “True Digital Park – ACE Singapore Center” at True Digital Park, which will be responsible for advising and facilitating both Thai and Singaporean start-ups as well as organizing activities and curriculums to equip start-ups in the region with the necessary know-how. It will also provide important opportunities for Thai and Singaporean start-ups to further expand their businesses and increase their competitive advantage in Southeast Asia.
