World-class green building standard... True Digital Park is LEED Gold Certified
Bangkok, August 7, 2023 – With the aim of becoming the largest tech and startup hub in ASEAN, True Digital Park meticulously attends to every detail, employing cutting-edge technology to establish True Digital Park as the epitome of world-class standards across all dimensions. The latest source of pride for True Digital Park is the attainment of LEED Gold Certification from the United States Green Building Council. This achievement marks True Digital Park to receive LEED Gold Certification, a globally recognized standard for sustainable building design and construction under the LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) framework. This standard has been employed to assess a multitude of buildings across the United States and various countries worldwide for over a decade.

Dr. Tarit Nimmanwudipong, General Manager of True Digital Park, emphasizes that the standout feature of True Digital Park is its distinction as the preeminent hub for technology and startups in ASEAN. Additionally, it operates as a comprehensive digital ecosystem for startups, united within a single locale. Guided by the principle of "One Roof, All Possibilities" the project also incorporates intelligent technology to conserve energy and elevate environmental standards. The LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council is a source of both delight and pride for True Digital Park. This achievement further underscores the project's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology to combat pollution and promote environmental friendliness. Notable technological inclusions involve the utilization of "solar cell" technology for renewable electricity generation, a "Smart Building" system to enhance electrical energy efficiency, and the city-level air purification tower "Fahsai." The latter ensures clean, PM2.5-free air for those within the project and its adjacent areas. Moreover, the project has incorporated over 20,000 square meters of green and outdoor space, transforming them into public areas that enrich the quality of life for the Punnawithi community. This endeavor serves the dual purpose of enhancing the environment and mitigating flooding risks in the surrounding regions.

The LEED scoring criteria encompass seven key areas:

  1. Water Efficiency (WE)
  2. Sustainable Sites (SS)
  3. Materials and Resources (MR)
  4. Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ)
  5. Energy and Atmosphere (EA)
  6. Regional Priority (RP)
  7. Innovation in Design (ID)
